I think this is another win for Jackson, his change to the off field culture must be having a impact to the players. Hopefully this will force Chip's hand but a little bit of me is hoping he goes.

We have a defence that will be ok for next couple of years and allow us to target a replacement later on in draft (or look at best available from state leagues)

Tyson dives into the pack and wrestles the ball out. Weaving through traffic and baulking tackles he finds Watts on the outside with a handball. Jack runs down the wing, pauses, and kicks the ball lace out 60m into the Demons forward 50.

But his kick seems headed directly to an empty patch of the ground! The ball seems to hang in the air as if forever. In this time the entire MCC begins to hurl obscenities at Watts, and evacuate the ground clutching at their walking frames as the ball is halfway through its trajectory.

However...it seems he has seen something they missed - Hogan on a lead from the goal square! He runs onto the perfectly placed Watts kick and marks it, leaving three defenders in his wake. Hulk wheels around onto his left boot and drills a goal from 50.

The ground erupts. The Earth explodes. Oblivion descends upon all that is good and pure.
