Think the issue is our salary cap compared to the increased spending particularly in China. We simply cant compete however I still think its possible for one day one of our sides win it but itll take a fair slice of luck.

Fair call. There is a huge disparity between the size of some of the clubs competing. But look at Adelaide's effort only a few years ago, and they won a pile of money in the process.

The FA cup has seen its share of upsets. Sunderland won it from 2nd division back in the 1970s - just as one example.
