I would say thats something we would look at. Lyons hasnt had a good run and alot of us think if he has coach who plays him without been used as a sub and dropped after one or two games then he will be really good. Sando sucked at managing young talent.Hello! Sorry for raiding your page, good luck in the off season and all that.
So Luke Lowden has told Hawthorn he wants opportunities elsewhere, and from what I've been hearing you guys need a second ruckman to help Sam Jacobs so Jenkins doesn't have to ruck (might be wrong, mind you).
Giles is the rumor going round, but GWS will probably want a second round pick for him which Adelaide wouldn't want to trade. Hawthorn need a clearance midfielder and from what I've been hearing Lyons isn't going to usurp Crouch for that position.
So what would you think of:
Lowden+Pick 57 (To Adelaide) --> Lyons+Pick 65 (To Hawthorn)
Both players are in blistering form in their respective reserve teams (Lowden averages around 2+goals and averages around 30 hit outs, whereas Lyons in a clearance monster and does like to kick a goal or two) and would like chances elsewhere to flourish. Hawthorn and Adelaide wouldn't be interested in dealing with their Second Round picks, but an upgrade of 8 in draft order could allow the Crows to get a valuable depth player. A sweetener on the deal, if you would.
Thoughts?
