Admin announcement: Round 1 change of scores after Betts found with weed!!!

In a shocking turn of events, Safety Bay Stormers have been awarded the four points against The Repeaters after forward Eddie Betts was found using illegal narcotics in the change rooms. It is also the reason behind Carlton's real loss to Essendon in the same round.

As such, the points have been forfeited and given to Safety Bay Stormers who now move up to third on the ladder and The Repeaters move to seventh. It is believed that Betts has been put in rehab and his terrible addiction has not stretched to any other player on the team.

*** Oh and due to the wrong Hill being named (Brad instead of Josh) they gained 13 points instead of 0 and in turn won by 4.5 points... but that isn't nearly as funny... or realistic ;)

This joke kinda seems a bit ironic now (just going back over the archives). This Carlton-Essendon match was "the" match, from which Carlton noted how fit the Bombers were before everything was shot to pieces in a supplements scandal.
