Feedback Admins behaving as trolls

Firstly - I know what most opposition fans will say.

The last day has seen two examples of this. Firstly Chief opening a thread asking if people think if Hird will coach next year on the main board. Anybody else does that it's moved within seconds, and the thread started probably warned/carded.

Then in the match day thread Jim Boy decided to make a trolling comment about Hird referring to our black armbands, when they were obviously there for past player Dean Bailey, something everyone would agree is a tragedy.

Point is, if you take on the mod/admin badge, the rules should still apply to you. If you want to make silly comments/threads then make another account. But ensure that account is treated the same as the rest of us. Because there's no point reporting admin accounts, where do the reports go after all?

As admin I can break rules in small ways in order to achieve goals such as making a particular issue more accessible.

The poll I posted has also been run by news sites and on the Channel 7 app during the match tonight.

See... common sense that says it is acceptable for an admin to post a thread with a specific caveat that this would be the only thread on this topic, plus explanation that the thread was for broadening access to a discussion buried in many pages on the specialist board, plus explanation that the thread would be shut if it got out of control.

Regardless, I've been allowed to articulate my feedback and gain a response, which I disagree with but nevertheless. Many other forums would not allow this to happen as it does here.

The interesting thing was how different that poll result was to the Channel 7 poll.

The whole moderator thing has me baffled. I understand there are certain rules and a need to draw a line with administering this BF site.
But I have been booted before and generally I know for what.

However there have been a couple of times where I am totally confused as to why an infraction came about, I can only assume that an individual moderator has not taken kindly or understood what I've meant.
This is a very bad and unfair set up. There must be set rules and regulations and they must be understandable.
I believe on occasions I can have some light banter with BF members and a bit of a go back and forth, and occasionally I've had a good debate /argument call it what you like. But then on other occasions I get warned or banned and I can only assume it is maybe a swear word or a comment that is misconstrued by a moderator, who at times I think maybe a bit young as they don't seem to understand the comment or read it wrong. Why I say that is that I have then found people saying the same thing , or using the same words , and no action.
I don't understand what trolling means , I flick through lots of BF sites to have a conversation or a debate , so if thats trolling I must do it all the time , but its a strange world this computer world.
I have one or two moderators get back to me and for the klife of me I still hadn't seen their point.

I had a lady moderator well the name seemed female warn me about something I said , I can't remember what it was now but it was regarding the way I used a word, in the next half hour or so I found the same comment or word about a dozen times. This is very inconsidtant. And what if you want a vigourouse debate, isn't that what this is for.

OR! as I've thought , perhaps there are a great many children on this BF site. I just wish someone would explain one day. I quite enjoy a bit of battle without going too far.

If you have issues with a mod decision then please talk to them about it. If this fails, talk to admin - http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/misc/contact . Admins will then look at the situation and make a decision.

Honestly, besides the club boards, BigFooty is the most incompetently moderated forum that I peruse. The mainboard is just an unfunny version of bay 13. It's seems it is ok to troll certain clubs, stick the boot in and practically get away with murder.
