AFL 2015: Report reveals true value of Friday night footy to clubs

No they Don't

To clarify I meant the players have a shot at using FA to get a flag - if they are good enough. The AFLPA states that they wanted every player to have a chance at playing in a flag, not condemned to never having a chance due to where they get drafted. FA is the mechanism that allows them to leave.

Does this shaft clubs who are struggling? Absolutely. But the AFLPA is not really interested in equalisation, just in maximising the return to its members (players).

grand finalists should get 4 each, next six get 3, bottom ten get 2 each.
alternatively, to give possible rising teams more exposure - top ten get 3, bottom eight get 2.
or to reward top and punish bottom - top two get 4, next eight get 3, next six get 2, bottom two get 1,

should include a GF replay and bottom two game.

In 2007 Carlton and Hawthorn collectively had 3 Friday Night fixtures, that same year the W Bulldogs and St Kilda had 11 collectively

Make of that what you will...

Neither the Blues or Hawks got equalisation $$$, in 2007 the Dogs did...

Can you apply that over a 5, 10 or 25 year period? That season seems like an anomaly.

Wookie either gets paid by the thread on his pages or buries discussions that he's not a fan of on the low traffic industry board.

Is this thread not related to 'footy industry'?

Tell you what, for comparison, why don't you put a thread about ASADA on the main board and see how quickly it gets moved?

Neither of those is true at all. We have separate boards for a reason. Media threads go to Fourth Estate, Industry threads to Industry, History threads to History, Stadium threads to Stadiums, drug related threads to drugs.

This has been done since before I was a mod.
