I think the biggest surprise will be the margin Giants beat saints. I think 60 points plus

GWS haven't beaten us at Etihad or anywhere else in a proper game so I doubt they will thrash us by that sort of margin however with our injuries and the fact GWS should be big improvers this year they will probably go in as favourites.

At full strength I'd still back us to beat them at Etihad but we will probably be missing about half a dozen of our best 22.

Can't see that happening. Saints still have a few good players (Riewoldt, fisher, newnes, montagna, Steven, Dunstan) and gws won't set the world on fire this year. Couldn't see them smashing anyone

Only 45k for our game? We got that against GWS last year on an Easter Sunday! Will push 50k quite easily, especially with the hype around the Crows leading into the season.

It's a good point you make and I've probabaly underestimated the crowd size.

Majority of fans will be Crows fans, but I guess it's kind of an awkward time of the day as well being in the middle of the day, unless families do easter festivities on the Friday or Sunday morning. Will be interesting to see

If Essendon aren't suspended I could see them winning.
The thing is, they can't come near Sydney recently even with a full squad, so I am not sure they will beat them. I could see them beating Hawthorn though if they aren't suspended

"How bad do Carlton have to be for Richmond to defeat them comfortably let alone demolition? Isn't the fact that they are not in finals contention enough? "

I have a feeling I will be saying this by the end of the Thursday game

Does anyone know how long before the Richmond Carlton game I have to get to the ground if I want to get seats behind the goals level 1?
