Smith was better than Sloane imo. Brodie should have got the 2 votes. Either way Pendlebury shouldn't be in there. Can't disagree with Sauce with the 3 votes, he was immense and destroyed Grundy.

The Crows are playing a hard style of footy to maintain.
Remind me of Essendon from a few years ago.
Pressure acts all over the ground and high rate of movement from forward to back to stop the counter attack.
Will be interesting to see if they are able to maintain the intensity over a long season as Essendon fell apart at the end from exhaustion.

Collingwood would've lost this by 100 pts if - Adelaide didn't stop in 4th qtr, Adelaide didn't kick at goal so poorly and the umpires weren't terribly biased towards gifting Collingwood goals in the first half.

Sick of people using that as the measurement of even umpiring. One team may tackle a lot better than the other. One team may get shots at goal from frees where as the other gets them in defence with a 2 on 1 etc
Sick of the whole concept of biased umpires. Its a simple fallacy. Tell Cloke that the umpires are biased towards him. Last time he got a free paid to him for holding was when Rudd was PM (the first time). It's OK to hold Cloke, scrag him and drag him down, if he was Buddy he would get 8 frees a week. It's not bias. it's preconceived.
Mate the fact is that pies have been down the ladder of the free kick count since Jesus wore knickerbockers. If you're going to knock a team about easy freekicks have a look at your own record in WA, then the Pies anywhere
