I just noticed so many times Port had the short option coming out of defence, but never took it. Always went the long bomb as the default option, which created a contest, and then Sidney won it on the ground. Either they got no confidence inn their short kicking, or they were under instructions to ignore the short kick option. Played right into Sydney's hands.
