Bomber is right, FFS we need a rule in place that if you kick backwards and mark it... it's play on...that last 10 minutes was painstaking. Freo are horrible to watch, ban them from TV.

How that did not happen is unthinkable.
So the result tonight should be disputed with the AFL.
There are no clear records either way with either team. Anyone with a bit of sense would say that Essendon won that game by 10 goals to a comfortable satisfaction.
