It wouldn't surprise me if the umpires keep over ruling each other's calls in favor of whomever each of them are supporting. The third umpire will be a big factor in determining who wins. 3 umps only 2 teams.

There's no conspiracy against Freo. But the AFL deliberately contrives results for their own benefit. Sydney's 20 years of success in making finals is prime evidence of that. The attempted coverup of the Essendon saga, including their pardoning of the Bombers, the same.

The umpiring in this sport is so often poor, and that it is, and that the AFL baulks at making umpires professional, means that the opportunity for corruption is enormous.

This finals series has been one of the poorest umpired in years.
