Thanks TD for kicking off what is the AFL Round 13 Collingwood v WC Eagles - Changes and Prematch Discussion Thread.

This much anticipated clash is set for Saturday Jun 23 at the MCG at 4.40 pm after our Rd 12 bye.

As per usual, we welcome input from all Pies and WCE supporters, aswell as any other interested posters.

Bit early don't you think lol. FWIW Shaw confirmed on radio pre-match that he'll be back and Toovey is likely to get up as well.

O'Brien was crap but he isn't gonna get dropped.

I don't think there will be many changes tbh.

Reid I would give another week. Hopefully Pendles is right to play. Would love to see Swan and Pendles in the same team for a change.

Elliott in particular could be a real handful at Subiaco. Eagles backline looks suspect against pacy forwards.

Dawes was okay today. I would only Drop Dawes for a Proper Ruckman in Ceglar or Wood

How long does it usually take to come back from a groin strain and you would think the club would be very cautious with him as well and maybe give him and extra 2 weeks off plus a week or 2 in the VFL.

I'd say 3 or 4 weeks but if it's a tear then probably a couple of months.

Just pray it's only a strain.

Don't worry, after the bye there will be NO injuries. We had a great run in 2010 and the second half of 2011 / first half of 2012 was the shitstorm that the injury gods had coming for us. Now that our injury period has technically spanned an entire season (24 games) we will be injury free !
