I don't get why the Bulldogs have nominated away and clash guernseys, if they're going to wear their home in an away game.
They will only wear their red jumper in games against West Coast at Subiaco. This is because the royal clashes with the navy (somehow), and they both have large amounts of white on both West Coast's home, and the Dogs, clash, or home on clash shorts.

West Coast has so much white that every other team wears a white clash top when they play the Eagles... :p

Same reasoning is used in Port v Adelaide games. Big game so they let both teams wear home jumper.
Big game so more people watching, the "stakes" (apart from the 4 points) are higher, it's a "more important" game, thus shouldn't it be MORE important to have no issues telling the two teams apart?
IMO it's more important to wear a clash top in a Grand Final/Final than in round 11.
SANFL Norwood (Navy) vs West (Black) in 2012 was a prime example. Someone wore a clash top in all 3 of their H&A meetings (hell, West even wear their red clash with black shorts at home against Glenelg [also black] becuase Glenelg don't have a clash top). But then come finals, in the Semi Final and the Grand Final, neither team wore clash, because "it's Finals"...it was even made note of on the telly: "both teams wearing their traditional gurnseys today even though they used clash tops during the season".
If it's good enough for the H&A season, it's good enough for the Grand Final.
Also, THERE'S an incentive to make a decent-looking clash top!
