Refused bail. Couldn't be trusted not to contact the victim.

Attempted murder charge thrown out but he is likely to do significant jail time after pleading guilty to grievous bodily harm (up to 14 years) and willful damage (up to five years or potentially life in case of aggravation).

Bye bye.

Good. Hopefully they lock him up and chuck the key away!!!!!

no kidding... society is so soft and unfortunately scumbag proud will be given all "Rehabilitation" measures to make himself feel like a victim to himself
Yeah true.. Slap on the wrist just cause he pleaded guilty...

Listened to an interview with Richelle on b105 this morning. Was pretty harrowing really. Worst part was that she said that until recently she didn't hate him, however found out from a mutual friend that he still takes no responsiblity for it but rather blames his upbringing, alcohol and drugs (which he hadn't even taken). Can't believe he's eligible for parole next year. Honestly until the courts start to take domestic violence seriously a woman a week will continue to lose their life to it in Australia.

Yeah, I am not a huge fan of mandatory minimum sentences as it gives our judges very little flexibility in certain cases but if they keep giving slaps over the wrist like Proud got for absolutely despicable repeat behaviour, then legislators are going to come in over the top.
