Welcome to the Rednecks... Jack Steven (Pre-Draft Selection)

JackSteven246_246X316.jpg

Jack is a young player who is coming off a breakout year and will only get better with the ample midfield time that he will receive at Saint Kilda. Averages an elite 40.9 as an OM and very solid scores as a Back (34.5) and an IM (32.5), Jack is still developing as a player and his scores will only go upwards.

Welcome to the Rednecks... Dean Cox (Pick 2)

Dean may be coming into the twilight years of his AFL career but he is still an elite ruckman in the LFFL world. He averages a massive 37.9, good for 3rd overall in the league, he is a bit risky due to age but he fills the ruck spot which was a glaring weakness in my side last season.

Welcome to the Rednecks... Dyson Heppell (Pick 27)

550856-dyson-heppell.jpg

Dyson is one of those players who LFFL coaches have to love, he can play a variety of positions including OM, Back and IM. He's a high scorer across the board and will hopefully bring a consistent 30+ score every week and he also gives us huge depth.

Welcome (back) to the Rednecks... Rory Sloane (Pick 30)

The Rednecks are elated to have a former player back in the fold, Rory Sloane. Rory is a great scorer across the board and gives me the depth I love having. With high averages as a Back, OM, IM and even a Forward he is a great get.

Welcome to the Rednecks... Brent Moloney (Pick 55)

276530_gp.jpg

I was wrapped that Brent made it through to my pick, he is the highest scoring Tackler and IM remaining. He also has a more than solid average as an OM. He may be getting older but he is a great player who will fill a role for me, great value for pick 55.

Welcome to the Rednecks... Brent Harvey (Pick 58)

I really didn't think that I'd be able to take a player who scores as well as Boomer does with Pick 58. He is getting older but he hasn't lost any of his pace or skill and with the addition of Dal Santo it let him off the leash a bit and (hopefully) increase his scores across the board.

Welcome to the Rednecks... Daniel Jackson (Pick 83)

Versatility is key in the LFFL and when you're rounding out your starting side you need players who can cover a multitude of positions and Daniel does just that. Should be a great addition to our budding side.

Welcome to the Rednecks... Brock McLean (Pick 86)

Ah the LFFL, the place where even one-paced midfielders can run with the best of them. I honestly don't like Brock as a footballer but you can't argue with results. He continues the theme of versatility which is developing in my team.

Welcome to the Rednecks... Sharrod Wellingham (Pick 111)

296665_gp.jpg

Sharrod is a very good player when he is at his very best and I believe that next year if he lives up to his potential he can turn those already solid IM and OM averages into the high 20's or low 30's. He is a good versatile backup regardless.

Welcome (back) to the Rednecks... Isaac Smith (Pick 114)

With pick 114 we welcome back another former Redneck in premiership player Isaac Smith. Isaac is a great backup due to the fact he can fill just about any position on an LFFL team if we have an injury and he is always a consistent scorer.

Welcome (back) to the Rednecks... Jeremy Howe (Pick 139)

With our next pick we decided to bring back the high flying Jeremy Howe. Making it back to back Redneck re-selections. Jeremy is a great CC choice as either a Forward or a Back due to his insane marking ability.

Welcome to the Rednecks... Lachie Neale (Pick 142)

With this pick I decided to take the emerging Dockers young gun Lachie Neale. He has very good scores as an OM and an IM and they should only improve this coming year, I think he is a very underrated pick at this stage of the draft.

Welcome to the Rednecks... Paul Seedsman (Pick 167)

Paul+Seedsman+NAB+Cup+Rd+1+Collingwood+v+Essendon+bX9WZZi6vtzl.jpg

Paul is a great scorer in the back position which albeit is the easiest position to score in, but he is still a good get at this point in the draft. He averages a solid 30 as a back and is a choice for CC or could even go as a straight Back if needed. He is also another young player who can grow and develop.

Welcome to the Rednecks... Shaun Burgoyne (Pick 167)

Shaun-Burgoyne-Michael-Klein.jpg

Burgoyne is another depth player for us, he is in the twilight years of his AFL career but in the LFFL world he is still a solid scorer and will be a good backup to have for the Rednecks.

Welcome to the Rednecks... Max Gawn (Pick 195)

130117_MazGawn_M.jpg

Big Maxy Gawn will be my backup ruck for the upcoming season, and hopefully the big fella doesn't have to play a game for us. Although I'd be pleasantly surpirsed if he dominates this year and forces his way into my side. Prove me wrong Max.

Welcome to the Rednecks... Jarryd Cachia (Pick 198)

Jaryd%2BCachia%2BAFL%2BRd%2B6%2BCarlton%2Bv%2BMelbourne%2BzIsY4Fanryml.jpg

Jarryd is a developing young player who with extended playing time could see a massive boost in his scores across the board. He is already a more than solid tackler. Good depth.

Welcome (back) to the Rednecks... Ben McGlynn (Pick 223)

620795-ben-mcglynn.jpg

Ben comes back to the Rednecks for the second season in a row, with his great tackling numbers he will always be valuable for depth and as an emergency as you know that you are guaranteed a solid score from him every single week. Good pick with the second last selection of the draft.
