I suppose you have a fair point.I guess once you've got someone locked in a tackle, the idea is to sink to your knees and bring them down and roll them to the side rather than throw them around like a rag doll.
Don't change your style at all, Andrew. That's what we want to see from you.
I'd always been taught to go low and hard, leading with your shoulder, pin the arms and spin/take to ground. I thought the knee-drop technique was better suited to when you're tackling from behind, as it's much easier to avoid falling into the player's back.
