To whom it may concern,

I write with concern regarding a prominent AFL-accredited "communications specialist", Jon Ralph.

Mr Ralph has shown his consistent inability to show any impartiality over the past 19 months regarding Essendon and its 2012 supplements program.

Yesterday evening Mr Ralph posted the following on this Twitter account:

"If I ever get done for drug cheating remind me to get into a joint investigation with ASADA and Aurora I can blow up"

I find it concerning that such a prominent member of the AFL Media is posting such serious and unfounded allegations to the public. His comment implies that Essendon have been found guilty of "drug cheating", which at the very least is misleading; at worst it is slanderous.

As a proud and loyal member of the club I wish to express my concern and encourage the club to once and for all take action against these seemingly unaccountable members of the AFL Media.

Enough is enough.

Yours sincerely,
Kong
Some lawyer folks has suggested it is borderline contempt of court.

This is from John Pierik yesterday in the age "Hird believes if the show-cause notices are allowed to stand, and these turn into infraction notices, his position at the club will be untenable"

1. Is John Pierik making this up? (i.e. that James Hird will walk away if we receive infraction notices)
2. Does John Pierik realise infraction notices aren't findings of guilt?

I actually think this is paraphrased from Hird's submission that states he was an interested party and therefore could join EFC in proceedings in the Federal Court.

fairly shallow stuff from Chris tbh
How is it different to bagging Ralph about his eyebrows, or Smith or Robbo about their weight?

It is almost like we must walk on broken eggshells around women for fear of being sexist, but when denigrating a male's appearance it is all good and fun.

I hear you & they deserve most of what they get, just not sure why he bothered with it

For me, there's often too much tendency to put people down - men and women - because of how they look, rather than focusing on their arguments (or lack thereof).

Surely we can come up with solid rebuttals to their arguments and not have to do the 'ah, but he's ugly !!!' schtick ?

Really though, she should consider herself lucky if people only pick on her appearance. Anyone who knowingly stirs up so much hate in so many others isn't merely doing her job as a professional. Just a horrible, horrible person who deserves what she gets.

I wonder how much of an explanation Justice Middleton will offer with his finding on Friday?

Hopefully, even if it doesn't ultimately go our way, Middleton will further embarrass those who deserve further embarrassing.

No issues there. They say enough stupid things to attack them purely on that.

He'd likely have a very detailed response to everything, coving his own ass a little.

Depends a little wheather he reads a lot of it out or gives his basic ruling , and hands down the papers detailing it all. Which should later be put up on the courts website for viewing.

As much as I'd like the toss of the coin to fall our way, I have a bit of doubt creeping in for the final decision.

I can't help but feel that the verdict will be as built up as the case with a whole lot of rebuttal on the flaws in the case, the conspiracy of the AFL being included in select information for the investigation and the out and out lying by a government organisation under oath.....but then there was no way legally that the investigation can be found as joint and the ruling falls to ASADA.
