He won some sort of bracelet at a poker event and wore it around everywhere, when playing he would constantly berate other players for their play (despite being absolutely clueless) and if they spoke back would say, "what would you know, you haven't won a bracelet!!" before showing them the wrist-wear.
Was this from the start? Doesn't this mean Ash could have placed a bet for $17k and scored a free buyin with 100% upside? Am I missing something?
^ ^ Bowdy whatisname, and its definitely him. Also called this woman I know a fat bitch (she was 7 and a half months pregnant at the time and is the nicest woman you could hope to meet) after she cracked his overpair with her QQ when she was short stacked and AIPF. I can't really speak for his NLH skills personally but I have played him in PLO and he is basically rubbish at it; I know one guy who has played with him in NLH and he apparently isn't good at it either, hence the bracelet thing is pretty funny (well it would be anyway but its much more comical because of his lack of da pokr skillz).
lol I thought it would be him
Had him on my starting table for day 1 and he looks pretty douchey
Seems to play the standard brand of breakeven/losing poker
Running well now though being 2/4 at the FT
He did spike a 2 outter on me though (he was the guy with the QQ hand v my trip aces)

Then Joe Cabret moved all in for 403,000 from the small blind after Bowdy Tolhopf opened to 50,000 from the button. Tolhopf thought for a few moments before folding AJo face up.
The hand started with David Yan limping in from the button. Bowdy Tolhopf made the call from the small blind before Billy Argyros raised it up to 260,000 from the big blind. Yan thought for a moment before mucking his hand. Tolhopf looked down at his stack, before bumping it up to 560,000. Argyros then instantly moved all in for 805,000 and was called.
Argyros: AJo
Tolhopf: J9cc
Bowdy Tolhopf opened to 225,000 and was called by Billy Argyros before both players watched the flop come down.
Argyros reached for chips and bet out 225,000 and was almost beaten to the pot by a 600,000 raise by Tolhopf. Argyros thought about his decision, before finally announcing all in. The shove took Tolhopf by surprise, opting to muck his hand and exposing thein the process
it looks like the year 2007 is back in fashion, which means I can break out the old wardrobe and rewatch Jamie Gold's win at the WSOP ME to get some strategy tips for my future poker endeavours.
lol at the 2007 thing
There was a hand where I think Bowdy jams the SB for about 15bb. Argyros is tanking in the BB and then mentions if I call I will call your hand.
Yep, because we still talk about putting people on individual hands rather than ranges
