Yeah he would, and that's why he's been picked. No.6 is really his for the taking.
Cannot believe how few quality options we have to pick a batting line-up.
Mitch Marsh barely done a thing but given the gig at number 6 after a few half decent performances.
Mind you, good luck to him. Steve Waugh started his Test career in somewhat similar circumstances and it eventually paid off.

Our batting depth is pretty terrible at the moment. Just no-one stands out at domestic level that is kicking the door down.

Bouncer hit him in the head. He was ok and then just collapsed. Airlifted to hospital after apparently receiving CPR on field.
Scary scary stuff.
Hope he pulls through ok. So scary.
Oh God that's terrible. Hope he's okay. That's really scary.

It's definitely the dangers of cricket. I've been apart of something like that before, it's truly awful.

I didn't see footage but some now saying he was hit in the chest. So maybe he did have a heart attack.
That's what i thought. You know what news is like with these things, different stories come out about it till we learn the official. Just saying what's been heard is all.

They pulled the footage down from the CA website, I guess they're waiting for a prognosis, which is 100% fair enough. This is just horrifying.

Reports on twitter that his condition has been changed to stable.

Some reports saying stable condition, some reports saying it can't confirm if he was alive when he left the field.
As good as twitter is for up to date news, it also teems with people who spread misinformation and make things even harder at times like this.
