Raonic impressed me in Brisbane as well, he was clinical. Has continued that form here and I've seen him play twice this year and against robredo he was fantastic.

The next level though against Murray, will be a very interesting match.

I can't wait for the Murray v Milos match now, both have different styles. It will be an interesting match.

Vika, couldn't even give Kerber any kudos for winning. BTW I am going for the French ladies in the doubles match, as they lost a close one to Hingis and Mirza in the Sydney final.

Hingis all the way. been making a little bit of side money on Hingis and doubles matches. she picks her partners well.

in other news, Nadal is still on track for the wooden spoon for the tournament. yes, useless stat, but i like it.

How do u win the wooden spoon for the tournament
u lose, then the person who beat u, loses, and the person who beat the person who beat u, loeses and so forth and so forth.

So in this case, Nadal lost to Verdasco, who lost to Sela, who lost to Kuznetsov, who lost to Monflis, who lost to Raonic tonight.

Just noticed that Stepanek and Nestor are through to the men's doubles semi finals. Any idea who the oldest pairing to win a grand slam is? 43 year old Nestor and 37 year old Stepanek would surely give it a shake.

their is not as many specialists double players in the womens side of the draw, hence not as many good volley players. that is my guess anyway.

that is due to the fact that a lot of women double up in singles and doubles, so the depth just isnt their throughout the year.
