It's a personal choice and I personally chose not to watch 'trash TV'.

While I can watch most things on TV I have to admit 'Say Yes To The Dress' is one show I cant stomach , just appalling

No AA I do not jest, Modern Family is truly awful. Really the families are not modern. Everyone is good looking, have respectable jobs etc etc. A modern family to me is a single parent bringing up two kids, having to struggle to hold day a decent job. I know it is for tv, but still. What they think it is modern because they have a gay family, cliche.
