Yeah think I read something similar. Might be a way for WB/DC to add more female character's to their universe if they want to try and diversify the cast a bit (I think Marvel was criticised for their lack of female heroes not long ago?)
Not too fussed if Snyder's son is in the film - would only be a very minor part (him getting presumably killed by the Joker). Was surprised to hear Synder had casted him in 300 and Watchmen also.

I think from the teaser clip shown at CC last year, he used it as a signal to show Superman where he is. 'Come and get me', if you will.
