pre-BBL, Victoria had a good T20 side. now that we have the BBL and the 2 Melb sides are not so great (usually 1 good, 1 not so good)

We had a superstar attack in those days, stickers, nannes, Andrew McDonald and McGain who was a very good T20 spinner. We don't have that now.

They wouldn't be able to afford it, surely. I just can't watch this an hour behind, it feels pointless. Hopefully with The Project done for the year it's shown live in Queensland.

Renagades were so disappointing. Didn't post nearly a good enough score, Russell couldn't hit the ball. Then the bowlers couldn't get a wicket. The Sixers had 3 batsmen who were capable at T/20 level. Well batted to all three though. They will be in a bit of trouble when those three don't get off to a good start. You certainly wouldn't want to be relying on 'Ed the Destroyer'.

True around the 16 to 18 over mark the renegades let themselves down. Sixers don't have much depth but might still sneak into top4

Important win as they will only improve as the competition goes on. Will gain Wessels next game as well as regaining quality players like; Nath Lyon, SOK and Starc.

When you compare this to the Renagades who will only get worse as the comp goes on. They will lose there four best players; Finch, Wade, Bravo and Russell. While they will only gain Ryder from NZ and Jimmy Pattinson.

Originally had Renagades in the top four but I'm not so sure anymore.

Pretty much déjà vu for the first 2 games, both home teams won their respective games by 8 wickets, with the second wicket lost coming when scores were tied both times.
