Mitch Marsh won't be there. If he is fit he is playing the ODI's or he is resting for the World Cup. One of the two. CA won't let M.Marsh play purely as a batsman and rightly so he is more likely just to injure himself that way (and we know we have to manage both the Marsh boys). Surely Turner goes before Harris!

One decent innings a good batsman does not make

No one has issues with Carberry scoring, people deservedly have issue with his failure to rotate the strike, push hard for runs and safely work with his partner for runs. On top of this his biggest issue is the way he slows down our innings, blocks and leaves balls and forces his partner to play harder and risk their wicket in order to get on strike and push the score. The positives of Carberry being in the team are obvious after last night, the negatives have been repeatedly seen.

Basically if he can stop contributing towards us losing and continue to break even or contribute to us winning then he's fine.

Last night he limited his slowness to a couple of balls, as you need to when playing T20. He played an excellent innings last night and deserves the credit he's getting

Fair points Mike, you'd like to think this was the turning point and the shackles have been released. Consecutive dot balls shouldn't build TOO much pressure now that he knows he can clear the fence with ease. Really hope so, we'll be a better team for it particularly with Sos potentially not being selected in the World Cup squad and Coults/Mitch needing limited game time ahead of it.

Everyone knows how explosive the Marsh brothers are and they still rotate the strike, completely different with Carberry

Our bowling was the reason we lost, but Carberry starting the way he did contributed to us being unable to chase down the runs. If people can't see that then they don't understand T20 (no offense meant even though I know that's how it will be interpreted)

I don't understand what's so wrong about accepting that he hadn't put in a decent T20 performance until last night or criticising his past performances? Voges was the same until last game, Klinger needs to be more consistent and Harris will probably get dropped for Sos when he returns if he doesn't put in another decent effort
