Andrew Boston is my big tip for next year (I also tipped Zac Smith for a break out year 2 years ago so don't take it to the bank)
Yeah i agree, showed a bit this year but i reckon he will improve even more. I reckon Leslie and Lemmens could have breakout years as well.

We heard that he was behind the others in his conditioning last year and had to work his way back into the team. When he got back in he showed he has great disposal and vision and for mind he is top 10 for pure talent at the Suns. If he can get himself really fit next year he should be able to show more of his bag of tricks throughout a game.

Eade's mantra will be defending and then the ability to make the right decsion and then the skills by hand and foot to deliver.

Anyone lacking these attributes will probably not be in Eade's long term plans.

It would be interesting to look at the entire present list and analyse each player.

Hawthorn are the bench mark and anything less will not get the big cup at the end of the season.

Yep, I completely agree. I'm sure SUNS will too.

The bloke has a massive amount of talent and is a great shot on goal. Luke Breust clone, imo - except faster and with more agility.

Yep, when he is up and about, secco has as much class as any of the SUNS and a bit of zip aswell. Hopefully a more friendly year on the injury front will allow him to reach his full potential

Not bad, I think i'd have Aaron Francis in instead of Schade and Ryan Burton in there instead of Garlett :)

On the whole I like your side, I'm sure a fit Malceski gets a run though, also see 2 meter Peter wright as a depth player that will come through.. Though when I look at the side you've posted it really gives me more confidence that we are no where near as bad as last season showed, key is keeping players on the park

Not far off mike... be interesting if we can insert one or two draft picks in there... Francis for Schade would be nice... Also we need to see how 2MP shapes up after another pre-season... love to have him rotating between fwd, bench, and a little bit of ruck

When you see our team on paper , our midfield looks bloody strong next year. If our mids can control the engine room i can see Ablett spending a bit of time up forward .

I think one of Wright/Brooksby/Currie has to be on the bench depending on who wants it the most over pre-season. I agree we need someone like Grant (as in his potential) in the Pocket, I think Grant is going to have to lift to take that spot though. Also that name Schade really stands out for me as not being good enough for what we need back there (lets hope we get Francis in the draft).
This side is full of everything we need to mature into a premiership contender except for the third tall fwd and third tall back... Take Francis and Burton in the draft and we might just be something special going fwd.

I can see why the club was hellbent on getting that medium forward , it does offer up a new dimension to our forward line . Unlike what Princey99 has put up , i dont think Hall will play forward but will be part of that midfield rotation , and Garlett will be playing rd.1 in that forward set up.

I think Grant will play on the fwd flank as a mobile 3rd tall. Lead up to the wing to provide a link and also use his speed doubling back into the fwd 50. Mix things up a bit.

Yep agreed , Lynchy would be doing something similar , just need a big stay at home forward like Dicko ... er .... 2MP.

Hey guys just popping into say hello. If both qld teams can field their best 22 next year i can see both of us charging up the ladder. Both teams have loads of talent which just makes me even more excited for Q-Clash next year.

Where does everyone think Hall should play? Half forward just doesn't seem to suit him. Every time he got a game under Bluey he'd stick him there and it seemed like he would go missing when he couldn't get his hands on the ball. Then Rocket sticks him in the guts and he get 30+ a game. He goes well in the NEAFL playing as mid.

Maybe it's a case of there was just too much ball to be had in his last several games. If Ablett, O'Meara, Prestia and Swallow are playing he might go missing again.

It sounds like Hall was guaranteed midfield time by Rocket when he re-signed, so he will spend plenty of time there.

With Jaeger, Ablett, Dion and Swallow all coming back from decent knee injuries I wouldn't be surprised to see their midfield time reduced to help avoid immediate re injuries. Swallow spending time at halfback, Gary forward, etc.

The modern game is won/lost by the dominace of the mid-field players.

If the GCS boys can stay on the park they have a realistic chance of making the finals.

Especially with a competent set of bookends at each end. Need a good season to try and convince one of Jaeger or Dion to stay
