B: Adam Kennedy, Joel Patfull, Heath Shaw

HF: Adam Tomlinson, Jeremy Cameron, Will Hoskin-Elliot

F: Rhys Palmer, Tom Boyd, Devon Smith

R: Shane Mumford, Adam Treloar, Callan Ward

Thats quite a close get from a Carlton supporter. In the modern game, you need a dedicated tagger, so Tommy Bugg to the INT and Tom Scully out.

We don't need a first round pick with that line-up. We just need smart picks.

Treloar
Ward
Griffen
Shiel
Coniglio
Scully
Whitfield
Kelly
Greene
Smith

Surely one of the best and most promising midfield groups in the comp. What are the chances of everyone securing a spot week in week out?

Had a flick through the AFL player Ratings and seeing what our highest rated 22 would be now...

Shaw (99) - Patfull (148) - Mohr (306)
Hampton (333) - Davis (383) - Greene (219)
Scully (153) - Griffen (5) - Shiel (122)
Whitfield (262) - Cameron (182) - Coniglio (265)
Palmer (303) - Patton (391) - Smith (86)

Mumford (94) - Ward (22) - Treloar (61)

WHE (312) - Tomlinson (362) - Kennedy (331) - Bugg (400)

No Kelly, no Haynes.

Promoted Stewart to the bench for KPF and ruck relief.
I always put Greene on the ball, Ward back to centre HB to use his experience.
It also gives us an experienced spine of stars apart from Tomlison who needs to step up and fill the Boyd void.
Weaknesses would be Hampton but he surrounded by veterans, and goals out of the half forward line.
McCarthy and Stewart stepping up would be massive but Mummy's ruck is the real concern.
I think this is an "F"-ing finals team for sure -we've caught up with the suns overnight.

Nice effort. I'd have WTF-1 (Hampton) ahead of WTF-2 (Plowman) but that's about it.

Who's going to do the chop out second ruck work though? Tomlinson/McCarthy not right, no one else there. Maybe Lobb will get the nod ahead of McCarthy. Does Stewart do any 2nd ruck work?

Tomlinson has before. Obviously very underwhelmingly but he'd be the one I'm tapping in that team.

To be honest I'd have Plowman's spot as Plowman/Hampton/Buntine/Bugg/Townsend if I was cheating. They're all largely interchangeable as a defensive rebounder/mid role with different strengths and weaknesses.

Id have Buntine ahead of wtf 1 & 2
