Ablett snr was a freak of the game. Rate him far beyond Buckley, and I lean towards Harves simply due to his longevity, loyalty, and consistencey.

And as much as I love Modra (my favourite player as a kid), Peter McKenna probably should the nod over him for the #6 guernsey.

Just to confuse the issue a bit more- Dick Reynolds won 3 Brownlows wearing No 3.

Ian Stewart won 2 Brownlows in No 5 (and another for the tigers wearing #2)

No 4 - Lockett is Great, but Royce Hart was CHF of the Century - the Toughest Position On The Ground (copyright).

5: That's a tough one... but I'm still leaning towards Ablett.
4: No chance. Lockett will always have the 4#.
22: Bob Rose Fair Enough.
30: Bourke will take Matera's spot
12: Richo to fill the spot for now (Maybe Roo when he's done )
16: Wait till Browns done playing, then we'll talk.
33: Cloke will also take Matera's spot.
