Yeah, there are definitely places open. It's a city of like four million people with a (self-dubbed) reputation for nightlife, places are open, you just have to know where. A place is always open. You Geetroit know-it-alls speaking for another city... the gall Gibbsy!

Oh boy, music is god awful at the Irish. But wow it gets packed in there, especially during school holidays you can be in line for an hour+ and the quality of girls during school holidays is fantastic for a place so far out in the east. School holidays are the just best time all round for clubbing

Yeah Lib Soshe is pretty sick on a Thursday, probably one of the better places to be honest. Drinks are expensive ($10 pints of Draught? Who are they catering for?!) but it's usually fairly busy, there's no lines to get in, you can sit down and have a few or have a boogie. Sometimes they have some decent bands playing and the DJs are always pretty good. It's probably the most hipster crowd you can get, Cant Say's worst pricks turned up to 11, but it's still good.
