I always really enjoyed the 90s salsa work of Marc Anthony, particularly before he made the crossover to english-language.

Tina Arena has been one of my favourite female voices since I was a kid. Anggun is another fave.

Other artists with decent voices tend to also make lots of excellent albums, or have a winning distinct personality embedded in their voice that makes them our personal fave, but the above are the sorts where I'll buy practically anything regardless of the quality or what they are singing about, the showstoppers.

Not a big fan of their music but Karen Carpenter and Judith Durham have amazing voices.

All my favourite singers couldn't sing
Jay Whalley?

Of those that I do enjoy and find that the vocal delivery is the key to their music whether that be through quality or uniqueness;

Nick Cave
Kate Miller-Heidke
Wally De Backer
Pelle Almqvist
Jon Toogood
Dave Larkin
Xavier Rudd

Also surprised Florence Welch and Matthew Bellamy haven't been mentioned.

Bon Scott was starting to hit his straps on Highway To Hell, Mutt Lange was getting the very best out of him. Sadly that was the last of that for Bon. Very soulful when he wanted to be.

Freddie Mercury had an unbelievable range.

Chris Cornell as well.
