I was referring to the players who were born in 86 or 87, and Slattery was born in 86 if you actually read what I posted

Indeed you did write that, and I did read it. The bit that baffles me is how you concluded that talking about a 26 year old is relevant, considering the title of the thread.

That looks a very good side, I'd be scared of the Eagles over the next 10 years
I was talking about players who missed out by a year or 2, for the 2011 thread criteria was born 87 or after- I was just pointing out players who were born a year or 2 earlier. Why make a fuss about it?

Think getgaff is quite wrong in his team in leaving out Newman, Brennan and Wilson. Something like

    FB: Smith McKenzie McGinnity
    HB: Brennan Schofield Stevenson
    C: Sheppard Stevens Gaff
    HF: Newman Darling Shuey
    FF: Hill Lycett M.Brown
    R: Naitanui Masten S.Selwood
    I/C: Wilson, Swift, Weedon
    SUB : McInness
    EMG: Neates B.Dick Hamp

Brennan's on the bench. Was either him or Wilson

You've selected a strong team as well. Plenty of excitement for Eagles fans between now and 2020 *fingers crossed*

Went without Newman and Wilson in the 22 because they are virtually untried at AFL (except NAB Cup) and we had sufficient players to cover there position in the 22.

Brennan i rate ahead of Wilson atm. Could debut as soon as this weekend

I rated Newman behind Hill, Dick and Weedon because he still has some developing to do. But could super seed an injury prone Dick quite easily

Everyone will have an opinion. Thats the beauty of these things :thumbsu:

I still doubt Schofield capability as a KPD as well thats why i had Brown at FB, forcing Brennan to the bench

Hamp's struggling atm but i rate him highly. Was a steal in the rookie draft of 2010. Got dropped from Claremont 1s but is a handy future HFF i think. Big engine. Just needs to bulk up
