Right, lets have another award to break up the dulldom. Dulldom is now a word, deal with it.

The next award goes to the individual who scored the highest runs in a single match. This award is called the Smith Trophy and is awarded to the batter to held together the innings for his side and selfishly kept all the balls to themselves. Quite a few impressive knocks were had during the Series, but the winner stood head and shoulders above his opponents.

Crocs batsman pantskyle, now known as the much less flamboyant Doctor Colossus, receives the Smiths Trophy for his massive 150* runs scored in a single match, without losing his wicket. Interestingly, it was his only innings during the Series that he didnt lose his wicket. Coming in second and third for highest totals were Wacky Tiger with 126* and Shermy with 124.

MannumPower recorded the lowest highest score with 0* runs, not out.

Time now for a Bowling award! Sometimes the least appreciated but equally important component of any Cricket side! First up we'll present the Johnson Trophy for most wickets taken over the course of the series!

Ashton Agar takes out the most wickets for the series award with 24 scalps. He was closely followed by This Is Anfield and Greater Gattsby, but managed to hold them off to clinch the trophy for himself.

Next we have the Warner Whacker Trophy for highest batting strike rate, for a minimum of 100 balls faced. The winner of this award usually didnt find themselves at the crease for long, but at least they made a damn good showing of it!

Western Woodpeckers recruit Juggalo Balla takes out the Warner Whacker Trophy for the series with an impressive 114.41 strike rate! He managed 270 runs in total, which meant he only averaged 38.57, but he did his best to make it feel like T20! He managed a top score of 106 and hit 29 4's and 9 6's. A total of 7 players managed a higher than 100 strike rate for the series!

Many players had great innings during the season and plenty of runs were scored. Even some bowlers got in on the action! But at the end of the day, its a batters award for a reason!

So without further fluffing, etc, the Ponting Trophy for the 2015 ODI Series is awarded to...

Shermy finished the series on an impressive 619 runs, well clear on rival Mullets player Helen Wheels who finished with 522. Shermy played all 10 matches, batting in every innings reliably, averaging 68.78 runs, facing 716 balls and a strike rate of 86.45%. He managed 2 centuries, 5 half centuries as well as 60 4's and 10 huge sixes.

Well done to Shermy on his efforts, we hope to see him pull off similar feats in the Test series!

With three awards remaining, we will begin with the Hussey Medal for best batting average for the season! Few players came close to matching this particular player, and I believe hes on holidays or some such at the moment but im sure we can find someone who'll take his totally-not-just-wrapped-chocolate medal!

Ill be the first to admit I was a bit confused how averages are worked out in cricket when it was first explained to me, but nonetheless, The Half Back wins the series Hussey Medal after averaging 91.67 runs an innings from his matches played! A great effort from a player who didnt quite make every game but fought hard to keep his team in the contest.
