If any of you aren't aware, Bonz and I have been dating for almost a month now. It has been going fantastic and now I think it is time to take the next step in our relationship. We went on our daily walk in the park where we confessed our love to each other.
DD: Bonz, you know I care deeply for you?
Bonz: Yes, and I for you.
DD: I feel like it is time to take the next step in our relationship.
Bonz: We've already had this discussion and I don't want a dog.
[DD stops and prepares for the berating that Bonz is about to give]
Bonz: You know I can't stand dogs, they are terrible. Always chewing furniture and pooping everywhere. I don't think you understand how big of a responsibility it is.
[DD bends down to tie his shoe]
Bonz: I've just never been a dog person ok? I understand that you really want one, but while we are in a relationship I want you to respect my thoughts and feelings about these things.
[DD gets on one knee and retrieves a little box from his pocket]
Bonz: Are you even listening to me? Oh...
DD: Bonz, I have thoroughly enjoyed the amazing time that we have spent together. I know we have our differences, but I feel like we belong together.
[DD opens the box and presents the ring to Bonz]
Bonz: It's so beautiful.
DD: Bonz, will you marry me?
Bonz: Yes.
[DD slips the ring onto her finger and they kiss]
Bonz: How did you afford the ring?
DD: I have my ways. Don't worry about that. Just think of the incredible wedding we are going to have.
Bonz: I need to find a dress. I need bridesmaids.
DD: I need a best man. Oh god, I didn't think this through.
Bonz: Shhh. Calm down we'll be alright. We just need to prepare for the big day.
What a perfect day for the young couple. Let us hope the wedding goes off without a hitch.
