Didn't suggest he was 'walking'. Go and look at some historical deals, the club of the player who wants out usually has to accept something pretty mediocre.

Beams is at least as good as Dangerfield.
Exactly, i hear people saying Beams isnt as damaging as Dangerfield but Beams is one of the best goal kicking mids in the game, you cant get more damaging than that.

Ask neutrals who they'd prefer int heir team and I'd think 9/10 would say Dangerfield.

Beams is at least the equal of dangerfield at this stage in their careers. Beams averages more disposals, more marks and more tackles over their careers to date, and the same goals per game. Plus he has greater big game experience. It is laughable to suggest dangerfield is worth more than him on the open market. If they are to be split, then beams is marginally in front
Bris will be getting a player who is in the best 15 or so in the comp in beams, a player who is coming into the prime of his career. They are dreaming if they think pick 4 alone will get it done. Aish might be this and he might be that in the future, then again he might not be - beams already is. Pick 4 and aish for beams right now is a fair trade

Brisbane have no leverage. Beams is contracted , he goes nowhere unless collingwood release him from that contract.

Yeah, it'll do wonders for the player (and the list) to keep someone whose mind will be elsewhere (as will his body whenever he can arrange it). Even if he's OK with it, any other players who aren't locals will look at it and wonder what would happen if they had problems 'back home'.

Beams will go for pick 4. At most there might be an upgrade of the second rd pick thrown in to finalise the deal but jested that? 28 to 24? Meh...
