Tried it. Doesn't work that well. It's very slow and meh.

The league unlimited forum, whilst full of w***ers, actually works really well on the iPhone through safari. Can you look into what they're doing over there chief?
 
BF works fine for me in safari...

But in any case, I can now say there are things blowing in the wind on the mobile front.

It is not an iPhone App - more a skin anyone can view with a mobile.

Buy a membership so we can pay for it...

Cheap plug that I will think about, I would really like a membership and will probably buy one soonish.

A iPhone specific skin might be the way to go I think.

I tried downloading this vBulletin forum view app from the app store but was sluggish, heaps of bugs and logins don't work either. Should be avoided at all costs.

Yeah pretty much. Like that app mentioned above logging in is a pain.

It's bearable for viewing though.
 
Official BigFooty iPhone app

Having an iPhone myself and finding it useful to keep myself amused while waiting for flights, on trains or whatever I have often thought it would be great to have a BigFooty iPhone app.

I know you can login using Safari etc but the zooming etc is annoying.

What do people think? Would you like an iPhone/mobile device app to make BigFooty easier to use with?

I'd use it, and would pay a small amount for it, but would be good if something like this would be included in the platinum supporters package. :)

I'd pay $5 for it if it meant no annoying pinch-zooming.

Although the ability to open multiple threads at one time, like you would on a computer, needs to be kept (i.e. in Safari you would hold down on the link and click "Open in new page")
 
We're testing a mobile skin over at InsideRail.com.

Register and select it from the drop-down at the bottom to see what it is like.

This means no need to buy an app.

Tapatalk we have found has problems - speed, logging in etc.
 
Screw the iPhone app, we need an iPad app godammit!

Will it be ready by Friday when we all get a shiny iPad?

No - works fine for me in FF 3.6.3, IE 8, Chrome 4.1 and Safari 4.05.

I suspect Javascript is turned off? Some other browser security setting? Platinum Membership - https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/account/upgrades ;)?
