Competition BigFooty Logo Upgrade Competition - $350 first prize

Hey guys. Just thought I'd put in my 2c. I'm normally just a casual reader of big footy. (Mainly just this board)

For whatever reason I've always liked the logo but just thought it needed a little "neatening up" so here's my attempt at just doing that.

Hopefully this gives you guys another angle when deciding the new logo.

Only suggestion would be to make the red of the footy a bit richer and darker. Might just be my monitor though

Try having the red outline in a grey possibly? Lighter than the top of the webpage..

I just had that thought today - and have a "like/dislike" button beside them to gather votes.

Some of the smart cookies have shown what a logo looks like on a normal BF background. Some are very good.

Chief has his hands full, not an easy decision here, a few genuinely awesome entries.

What about a poll? Let the people whittle it down to one or two and then Chief and whoever else decides that way? Sounds a lot easier then picking out of several designs.

Hopefully Mr joels one makes the short list. Still think it's the best. A lot of others are very well done and beautiful intelligent designs, but they're designs per se whereas Mr joels SUITS Bigfooty and what Bigfooty is. Describes what Bigfooty is.
