A little bit different to what it was last year - I switched from The Two Towers to Return of the King as my favourite LotRs film. Same with Life of Brian - I preferred Holy Grail for many years, but I can appreciate the fact that Brian is a better made film these days.

It seems that ragging on Shawshank has become something of a sport on the interwebs in recent years. I don't get the hate.

One of those movies i guess you either love it, or you hate it. I personally don't see what the fuss is all about. Yet it seems like every second person that mentions their favourite film of all time mentions Shawshank Redemption.

"don't see what the fuss is all about" doesn't mean you hate it though, does it?
