Boak has had a very good year but IMO Jordan Lewis is the most underated player in the AFL.

Where you getting your stats from? Lewis has averaged 26 disposals this year!

i don't think those stats are relevant as Boak was the powers number 1 midfielder early in his career, while lewis has had players like Mitchell, Hodge and sewell to deal with and has sacrificed his game to a degree. Both great players

What does that matter? I am comparing Boak now to Lewis at 25. Lewis had mitchell, hodge, sewell. Boak has gray, ebert, wines currently.

Boaks off field puts him ahead of most players in the comp. Very admirable, and loyal.

I'd go with this. Lewis is the kind of player you'd love to play with and have on the side you support. But he's not as good as Boak.

I think it is a lot closer than the poll will end up. Boak seems to be getting plenty of plaudits this year, whilst Lewis is quietly having the best year of his career. Their stats are actually very similar, and have both been their respective teams best midfielder this year.

Both would be in AA calculations this year. And would be close to leading their teams B&F.

True, but that is a problem with polls. A lot of people would pick Boak, but only just. For example, if you had to give them each a percentage that would add up to 50 together, a lot of people would be around 55% for Boak and 45% for Lewis, or even closer.

If the question was "Who would you rather have in your team TODAY?" the answer would be Boak. He is playing fantastic footy and is in his mid 20s. I really rate Lewis highly though, and if they were both 25 years old, I reckon I would probably take Jordan. His ball use is excellent which is something I see as very important.

Same with Kade Simpson due to Gibbs, Murphy, Judd? They're both 4th best at their clubs for me.

Would take Boak for age but Lewis is one of the top 5 most underrated current players.
