got a man crush on shep. Looks more and more like a pick 7 and maybe even more.

Gotta say the recruiting team have done a really great job with our first round picks in the last 7 years
2014 - Duggan = nailed it
2013 - sheed = gun
2012 - no first round pick (Wellingham)
2011- no first round pick (compromised draft)
2010 - gaff = nailed it
2009 - Shep = nailed it (Fyfe aside)
2008 - NN and Shuey = home run

2nd round picks not so much :p

Saw a guy at work yesterday who was a dead ringer for Shep.

That's all I have to say about that.

Have to leave stains too, making it a one-two visual and olfactory knock-out.
Save embarrassment when you need to unleash a reeky turd at parties :

When theres a line up for the toilet - as you walk in turn around to everyone - hold your nose and stick your tongue out and make a gagging action like the person befores turd stinks of the bowels of satan - poo really quickly and sorta walk out backwards doing your fly up like you pissed.

Deserving winner of our best finals player

It's a measure of how far he's come that across a tough finals the previously considered flaky Sheppard was the one that stood up most

He's had a great season
Watching the GF live he was incredible in terms of how much ground he'd cover to come over and spoil/intercept, if he hadn't been out there it would have been much much worse. Is good

He sounded incredibly humbled to receive the player of the finals award, really grateful that the club had stuck by him and backed him in and thanked basically everyone in the room. Hope he keeps it up next year. Will be great to see what his role is like with Emac back in the team.

Hopefully he's allowed to be a lot more attacking and can push up the ground. Has the confidence in his skills and pace to be a weapon IMO.

With a regular third tall defender back in 2016 back you'd expect that would allow Shep to play as a more of an attacking HB in 2016 or not continually play as undersized tall. Pacy and good foot skills, confidence in selection and in his team role has worked really well for Brad

Yeah can't wait for it, will give him, Wellingham and Hurn a lot more freedom to impose themselves into games from HB.

I'd actually prefer we stuck with just two kpds unless we play a side like Norf or Adelaide.

Mackenzie will adapt to the web but his defensive skills are far superior to both Schofield and Gov combined, meaning we will/should be even better off with just him and Schofeild as two tall defenders, allowing Gov to go forward.

Hurn and Sheppard can continue to play as third tall but that doesn't mean they don't have freedom to counterattack, they all just need to know when to cover for each other.

Mackenzies dominance against kpfs will mean Sheppard, Hurn and Wellingham won't have to be as conscious of having to double team forwards as they may have had to with Gov.

I have had periods of backing Sheppard (2010-2012) and then a couple of years where I had written him off completely, but his season has probably been top 3 best things to happen to the club this year (abolition of tripe anal and making the grand final being the other two).

Love the Shep.

I must admit, I thought he was a mediocre flanker when we drafted him and was bummed we passed on Jetta! Then a couple of years later even more bummed we missed Fyfe. :p

But damn if Shep hasn't been so absolutely amazing this year. What a revelation he's been!
