I am not sure if there was a thread on this, maybe there was but it jumped the shark.

Anyway, I remember warning medusala of this and the links to certain Tory politicians, which he didnt receive well, during the BBC scandal.

There have been rumors of a coverup for decades, but now that the finger pointing has begun at MPs, Scotland Yard and the security services it is almost hard to believe that something this well protected due to indiference, corruption and in some cases participation is coming to the surface.

However I have been less than impressed by both Theresa May and the Tories, especially the decision to vote down a bill giving police whistelblowers inmunity from the oficial secrets act.

One hopes that if there was a coverup by Scotland Yard that it will be exposed, however I still think the scandal will touch to close to some historical sacred cows for the response to be as thorough as the public would hope.

Remember if you are if rich enough in the west you can rape babies and not go to jail cause you "will not fair well"

Some also said her view that treatment was a better idea than prison is a justification typically used when sentencing drug addicts, not child rapists.

That place you get when you cant deny the culture of the ruling class covering up their crimes against children. We see excuse after excuse after excuse, but its never stopped.

I see the catholic church much like Essendon. Why should they admit to doing what all their peers (poliitcians/police/judges,media) did/do and get away with?

I shouldn't share this, but when i was trained in justice studies, he brought up issues with police in this state charged with child pr0n offenses and he just attacked priests and politicians who offended the same way, saying they offended in greater numbers than police, as if it made it right.

Its not right.

I quoted meds because when the BBC scandal was happening and he was claiming this was good reason to wipe the beeb from existence, I argued that would he take the same position re the Tories as there had long been rumors about MPs involved in organised pedo rings and that given time it would likely become public knowledge.

One had. Other than the dead Lib Dem mp the other commonly mentioned names are on Tory and one Labour MP. I have only heard one other name mentioned in respect of the particular establishment and they are in the entertainment business. I have zero doubt plenty were involved. May they all rot in hell

Yep Thatcher turned a blind eye to child rapists she was warned about due to their money and connections.

She even actively promoted some of these dregs which gave them access to victims and protection from prosecution.
