Wait before hitting x on the startup screen for the number in the top right corner to change from 37.0.0.0 to whatever the latest version is.

Once the number has changed then hit x and you will get straight in without waiting for the 'connecting to cod' message

Right now the number is 37.11.19.4 there was some more updates today to the game - last night it was 37.8.6.4

No idea what the updates are/were (double weapon xp probably ??)

Hot fix for the ban/protect system in Arena where you could get multiple picks if you spammed the A button after picking your item.


Had trouble the last 3 days with games but have found 4 lobbies without problem this arvo.

Lol. All I see you playing is TDM. TDM is rubbish for all streaks in this game.

Domination in this game doesn't fit our bigfooty parties. We are all way to aggressive and the spawns go haywire.

Vesper is still easily my favourite gun. Got a sweet "epic" camo for it from the 10 coin crate. It's like lava or something... Looks wicked anyway, whatever it is.

Safeguard would be brilliant if the XP was decent. Played just then, went 63-46 with a bunch of escorts etc. and scored 4490. For me that's a pretty good game of Safeguard but I'd beat that without thinking on Domination, Hardpoint etc.

What's with the lobby leaderboards in this game? Only appears the first time you join a lobby? Did Treyarch just assume that the lobby stays the same each game and we don't want to see the stats of new people that have joined?

The more I use the KN-44 the more I like it. Still pondering whether it's worth putting rapid fire on it for close-quarter engagements, but means I'd have to probably drop either the grip or quickdraw which I really don't want to do.

KN44 handles exactly like the AK from the first black ops, especially with a supressor on.

What's the damage/range drop off like with the suppressor on it though? I know what the stats say, but do you actually notice it much? Finding I'm playing much better without a suppressor with this COD, for all guns, which is unusual considering I have always used them in the past COD's. Just seems to be a much more noticeable lack of damage per shot or something, for me anyway.

I just ditch my smoke/stun/flash grenades and go with primary gunfighter and an extra attachment. I use iron sites on 90% of the guns though which makes it a bit easier.

I just can't bring myself to ditch the ghost perk now that I have it. I run around constantly and I hate running around corners only to have people waiting for me because of a UAV. Awareness is also beast when playing domination. Helps when capturing flags by yourself. Can hear exactly where they are coming from.

I am running i think 5 attachments? maybe 4? - I turned the game off to watch the end of the cricket and cant remember.

Only perk kept on some classes is tracker

no sights, no explosives etc, no secondary weapon
