I am not sure it is that bad a look.
People need to get a life if they are complaining about this.
It's showing support, not marketing Carlton.
If he's gambling responsibly and not on footy then I don't see a problem

I personally don't like the gambling culture & in particular the gambling culture around sport...its reached saturation point & I'm sick of it

Precisely. Hard to believe anyone would get worked up over this. Some people look for trouble I guess.
What exactly , is wrong with owning a horse and God forbid , having a bet on it ?
What would you have him do , attend mass on Sunday mornings and then rush down to Bunnings to cook the bbq for the local scout group !

Little bit over the top there red bull.
I don't expect any players to go to mass, do 100 hours of charity work, go to bunnings & bbq with rotary, coastal weed pulling, any of that.
I personally don't like footballers punting.

I really don't like sports people betting...
Doctors & teachers? So a flutter are you talking horses or pokies
My boss has organised our xmas gathering at some picnic races....i work in banking, he loves a flutter,, I voiced my opinion, I'll go but prefer we did something else.
I understand people can flutter or have a casual bet and its ok
Maybe I'm an old fuddy duddy
