Fair enough...Lemmingmaster, TGR, HBF are the most frequent posting draft experts. Splendini and Sin City if they're around may give an opinion here or there while Harker and etsal are always informative. Those are the obvious posters that you should take note of.Im no expert, just want to see people's opinions
Thanks, just wanted to know who my fellow blues fans think will be drafted by which clubs. I enjoy Cal Twomeys phantom formguide on afl.com.au, but I prefer a club/pick-based phantom. Also after seeing what other posters think I probably wont take much note of #aspiringjourno's PDFair enough...Lemmingmaster, TGR, HBF are the most frequent posting draft experts. Of the wider BF community, Offsider has good write ups, but his draft orders are notoriously bad. Knightmare can have a slight Pies bias but he's the most diligent in the forum, maybe not the best gauge of the draftees or the order.
19. C'TON:.....Ellis (It will be a Jet)
Your credentials? Would think only about 5 of us have actually watched enough games to make a worthwhile contribution. Draft thread is always there for the others.
I'm allowed to askI don't see why someone needs to have 'credentials' to post a phantom draft.
Nothing wrong with the thread at all.

IMO with one or both of our first 2 picks we should go with best available.'best available' or need?
I mean there's some concern over Jamo's longevity past 30 but we did pick up Jaskch and Giles in the past 12 months.
Meanwhile, our midfield isn't capable of running out a game against the top sides such as Port Adelaide.
If Marchbank is head and shoulders above the next best midfielder then sure.
Fair enough. I'm just thinking that we redressed the talls shortage with Jones and Jaskch.IMO with one or both of our first 2 picks we should go with best available.
Yeah, id have no problem with picking up goddard or marchbank with our first. Alternatively, we could kill two birds with one stone and get Lamb, a tall midfielderFair enough. I'm just thinking that we redressed the talls shortage with Jones and Jaskch.
So for need, I think it's definitely midfielders but it'd be nice if a tall were 'best available' with an early pick for a change!

I am going on the theory that with McCartin, Wright, Moore, Lever, Durdin, Goddard all considered well a head of Marchbank, we are getting what is considered the 7th best KPP and I can't be fcked going through past drafts but I would guess the strike rate of the 7th best Kpp would be very low. Considering we got Jaksch and Jones I would be much more comfortable taking a midfielder.I would be spewing if Marchbank was available @ 19 and we passed
