Don't agree with rookies being subs. The idea of a sub is to either have the versatility to cover for an injury, have an impact in a qtr or bring something to the team that can change the way we set up.
A rookie achieves none of those through lack of experience. So what's the point? To give him a taste of it?

The year is cooked. I would bring in one of the kid KPD to release Yeo into the mids. Would like to see Hurn play off a wing or switch to HFF when he is getting tagged out of it. McGinnity needs to go. Bennell should come in.
I wouldn't be calling for Wellingham's head based on today's effort.

Frankly I don't think Waterman has the fitness for a full AFL game yet. Make him sub to allow Duggan to escape the vest.

Go nuts, but within reason. Brisbane away from home is a winnable game and we wouldn't want to give up games just for the sake of it. But definitely time to bring Bennell and Colledge in, maybe someone like Waterman, with Duggan getting a full game. Outs: take your pick. McGinnity, Butler are not part of our future, Masten and Shuey need a rocket up them. Plenty of others to share the blame.
