Me make jam? I think you're pulling my leg-wouldnt know where to start o_O
lol. Well you need to learn.
There are a lot of basic recipes around. And it's such an awesome ingredient to add into sandwiches etc.

In fact, I reckon it would be great on toast!

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 pounds red onions, halved and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup dry red wine
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt, plus more to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, plus more to taste
Procedures
  1. Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Add onions and cook until softened and just translucent, 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  2. Add in wine, sugar, thyme, vinegar, and salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat low, and let simmer until liquid thickens and becomes syrupy, about 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste. Transfer onion jam to a bowl and let cool, then serve or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks, letting onion jam return to room temperature before using.

Well, you're talking too soon. I got a text last night saying thanks for a nice lunch and that he had a nice time-I was surprised lol!

did he suggest another outing?

i am just working off the fact that he has twice mentioned the "friend" angle...he could well be weird though.:D

Yeah Kelvin went ok.
I just don't reckon he had any drive. Reckon he was the type to be on the turps all the time.

Just checked. 70 goals 53 behinds from 58 games.
Geez he had a shocking end to 1980.
But I can't remember if he started the games on the bench.

1 disposal
7 disposals
1 disposal
5 disposals

But I don't know if he was injured.
He missed rnd 18, 19
Then 21 and 22 in amongst those games.

Not sure if he was dropped after that last semi final game.

If I remember rightly he was on a wing/back when I saw him play so the goals etc look better, you're probably right about his extra curricular activities.. think a lot of the players those days had big nights out, more like a business today. Being smart pays and of course talent doesn't hurt..

I shouldn't have watched it. I'm tired now.
That must be one of the worst trilogy movies ever made. If you haven't watched the first 2 (or at least the 1st) it would be impossible to watch.
I can't believe how bad the acting is in the last 45 seconds.

you said the films were great...it is like the first was written and was really successful so they made the next two.

That doesn't look too hard actually. I don't know how many onions is 2pounds worth-what's that in kgs?
