Roast Cloke and White Goal Kicking Holding us Back

We played arguably the top 2 sides in the Competion and we should of beaten both of them.

But our 2 Key Forwards can Kick Straight from a Set Shot in front of Goal.

We can play very well but can’t kick straight we won’t become a Top 4.

Both have had Straight Kicking games but where both against Bad Sides

When you miss a goal an Under-12 player would kick, you know you're not up to AFL goalkicking standard.

Well Getting it and Kicking goals are 2 Entirely Different Things.

We don't have to accept White though. What a flog. Can't mark (and has a new tactic of one-handedly hitting it down to oppositiion players instead of even attempting to mark) and can't kick for goal (another new tactic - don't even try, try to force Swan into marking it in a completely awkward situation he never had a chance to succeed in).

White needs to go FFS. He's the worst player in years, barring Clinton Young.

Cloke seems to change his kicking style each week, he can't seem to settle on a technique.

Fasolo has been finding his feet, hardlyhad any shots at goal since his comeback until today. Hopefully there's upside (sorry for the americanism have been here too long!) which is a lot more doubtful with Jess and Cloke.

but cloke's kicking does seem to be evolving, was good for 2 weeks, has that ever happened before in his career that he's kicked 7 straight? So may actually come out the other side as a decent set shot hopefully in time for finals.
Jesse seems to me to have a more conventional and simple kicking style, so not sure what the techincal issue is with him? Often it's the old "look at the goals as you kick it" error, which you are absolutley not supposed to do.

another one is kicking the ball not right in the middle of the foot. Only a tiny deviation to either side can have a huge effect. have to watch the ball all the way to the boot and make sure to connect right in the centerline of the boot. and of course ball drop to ensure the ball is pointing straight at goals when make contact (for a drop punt). For round the body it also shold be pointing at the goal but of course not parallel with the boot.

Cloke is taking up about an extra half a mill than White. What he does it simply unacceptable. You've been a professional AFL player for 10 years for christ sake, LEARN TO KICK A GOAL FROM 20 METRES ITS NOT HARD

Stop being no negative. We got within a couple of goals of the best team in the comp. its a deceloping year and were pushing the best teams.

When the time is right we will win these games.

Pretty disappointing for sure. Imagine what we'd be without them though.

Whites strengths are being one out up the ground and using his explosive pace and strength to beat his man and put it to advantage, this was seen in a great passage where he out bodied his man took the mark then sprinted off and delivered a beauty to Cloke.

Cloke missed the pud and we were really getting on top around that time.

He is a good forward not great and should ease up on him until we have another foil for him and Cloke.

A Reid would make all the difference for White as he could roam more and use his real weapons.

Maybe a trip to the * academy wouldn't hurt our forward line either

No doubt goal kicking was a major issue last night, but equally so was our lack of composure at crucial times when we took wrong options. Adding to that both Elliot's and Fasolo had shocking games.

Glad someone bought up Fasolo. Between him & Cloke, our chances of winning the game were thrown away. Didn't think White was that bad.

Cloke is just a choker. Watched him in the warm up and he couldn't miss from wherever he kicked. I bet he's kicking 85% at training. Give him a set shot under game pressure though and he melts
