So that would be what rebrand #6 for a Gold Coast rugby league team? Lol. Just lol.
I saw this picture on reddit last night and I have to admit it looks pretty cool. I like the idea of both Gold Coast teams wearing red. Do you guys like it?

They must have been counting fingers and toes to come up with that figure
I have been to every home game and that figure is completely accurate are you jealous you don't get that many people to Melbourne games in a city of 4 Million people.
A lot of the crowd end up on the broadcast side because of the sun, so you miss a lot of people in the broadcasts.

I had estimated about 15,500 from what I saw at the ground so a tad over 16k is pretty accurate.
Yep, cannot see most of the crowd on tv.
I was hoping for 20k but in hindsight 16k was a good turnout given Easter and whole Essendon saga.
Carlton in 2 weeks should push 20k although the night time slot can mean a lot of our juniors may not come.

When was the last time Carlton played a game at Metricon? 2013? Fingers crossed we get good weather because I've heard that there are quite a few Blues supporters flying up from down south for this one!

Carlton have played twice at Metricon , one 19,400 and one 15,300 , for a late Sat game i'll be expecting 15k.

By the way i'm pretty sure this is the first time both GC teams have been in the top 4 of the ladder at the end of the round at the same time .... ever.
Titans playing Broncos this week, should crack the 10k barrier for the first time in 2016.

Well done to the Titans for pulling a crowd of 21,080 to their Broncos clash at Robina on Friday night. Should be interesting to see the kind of crowd that shows up to the Carlton game this weekend at Metricon.
Especially after the great win yesterday.

I'm not expecting the Carlton crowd to pull anywhere near 21k. It'll be closer to 14 if anything, which is a shame.
Not really expecting there to be very many big crowds this year in general, but hopefully we can build our fan base in 2016 and hope for some improvement in 2017. Although if Sydney and Gold Coast are both performing well before we play at Metricon later in the year we may get a 20+ crowd again, but I'm thinking the 2014 packed house was an anomaly.
