This season, there were many players who had great years. Different players won awards for the best player of the year (Brownlow, MVP and AFLCA Award), but I've went and ranked player's years, to see who did have the best year. It certainly wasn't easy this year and there are a few surprises.

So here is my Top 50, for season 2014!

Every year there are players that miss out. Apologies to Hannebery, Bartel, Hibberd, Burgoyne, S.Martin, Macrae, M.Murphy, Deledio, Stevie J, H.Taylor, Barlow, S.Hill, Schulz, Hartlett, K.Jack, McVeigh and McGlynn.

I must admit he was unlucky, but I had Buddy, Roughy, Hawkins, Nroo and Gunston all ahead of him. You can't fit all of them in!

Haha what? So the top 40 has to only come from the AA squad

Rance in the AA team, unlike Mackenzie, clearly had a better year. Not sure what Mike has been smoking to have him at 12

He had a good to very good year. 30-50 sort of year. Not top 20

I rate Cunnington, thought he had a decent year, he was on the short list, but couldn't fit him in.

Cleary Rance is higher than he should be, so i'll ignore that. But besides that I think this is the best one of these i've seen, I like how steele is getting some recognition. Good job.

I think that is the right spot for Rance, he did some incredible stuff that i'd never seen before.

Wait, because he won the Brownlow he had to be in the top 10?
No doubt he had a great year, but I feel others were better and I obviously didn't share the opinion of the umps.
