Cochin will never kick a 60 metre goal.....maybe the closer you get to goal Dangerfield but would take Cochin in the midfield and back half of the ground.

While i think cotchin is probably a better player, for some reason i see dangerfield as being a more damaging match winner type.

This has been popping up a fair bit and im curious why the statement has been made but never an explanation as to why.
Each to their own, but to the Danger followers, why is he more damaging?
More explosive, wins more of his own ball in a contest. his power, speed, and ability to break open the stoppage makes him a more damaging impactful player
Cotchin has his strengths too, but that's why danger is more damaging

To say "More explosive, wins more of his own ball in a contest. his power, speed, and ability to break open the stoppage makes him a more damaging impactful player" is just as relevant to both the way they play. I took it he was implying Cotchin couldnt do any of the above.

Why ask for an answer in the first place? Would you like to tell everybody that voted for dangerfield they are categorically wrong as well?
How about you get over yourself and realise that maybe others are valued as highly as whoever is wearing the yellow sash.

For the record, than answers you were given were comparing the 2, so the opinion that said MORE explosive, wins MORE of his own ball, is MORE damaging suggests that Dangerfield does those things BETTER. Not that Cotchin doesnt do them at all, but those are the traits of Dangerfield that make him appeal to those posters MORE.
