Continuing the countdown - and catch up lol - we take a look at WA champion Barry Cable.
From Narrogin in WA, Barry Cable was at first written off by East Fremantle as being too short, however in 1962 Cable was signed by Perth where he stared on the wing, before moving to the roving position in 1963. He won the first of his Sandover medals in 1964. He would go on to play another 225 games for Perth, 115 games for North Melbourne and 43 games for East Perth - and would go on to coach all three sides. He played 20 games for Western Australia and 1 game for Victoria.
He was inducted into the AFL Hall of Fame in its inaugural intake in 1996 - elevated to Legend status in 2012, into the Sports Australia Hall of Fame in 1986, the WA Hall of Fame in 2004. He was named in Norths Team of the Century as rover.
