The chances of Cripps ever leaving dramatically reduced after this signing.

When this latest contract expires, he will be 23yo and surrounded by a number of highly talented players of similar age who have all become very close mates. The club's pursuit of premiership success will be in full thrust by then (they should be playing finals too) so that reason to leave will also have been addressed.

Apart from the oddball FA deals (the player gets made an offer too good to refuse), big name players who are being paid well enough don't just jump ship these days.
